The Sri Lankan authorities have taken steps to remove the restrictions for the number of people who have completed the vaccination that can be brought on a flight to Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, airlines will be allowed to repatriate passengers who have paid for 14 days after receiving both injections.
Also, under the Sri Lanka Tourist Board’s ‘Bio Bubble’ concept, fully vaccinated tourists are allowed to return to Sri Lanka at full passenger capacity.
But only 75 people can be carried on a single flight without a single dose or vaccine.
However, those passengers must be quarantined for 14 days upon arrival in the country.
