China says Sri Lanka is one of the countries where the United States has imposed sanctions.
The Chinese embassy in Colombo stated on social media as saying that 27 countries, including Sri Lanka, had been subjected to US sanctions.
The Chinese embassy Twitter message also said that China has never tried to subjugate any country in the world, but the United States has been interfering in the affairs of many countries.
