According to the ranking of the World’s famous ranking institution, ‘Standard & Poor’s Sri Lanka is among the riskiest countries in terms of debt repayment.
Sri Lanka is currently in the CCC + range, with the final category being the SD (selectively defaulted) category.
That category represents the midst of a major economic crisis.
It is noteworthy that Sri Lanka is in a list with all the other countries in the existing group
is in the African region.
