Sri Lanka Information Technology Association President Rajiv Mathew Yasiru Kuruwita has been arrested by the CID, reports said.

It is said that he has been arrested for questioning due to the false statement made by him that several government institutions including the Presidential Secretariat have been subjected to a cyber attack.

He had stated on his social media account that he had announced by mistake.
