The World Bank gave Rs. 16 billion to buy corona injection to Sri Lanka

The World Bank has approved $ 80.5 million for the purchase of the corona vaccine in Sri Lanka.

The agreement between the World Bank and the Government of Sri Lanka was signed yesterday.

The World Bank said in a statement that this was the second financial support for the Corona Emergency Response and Health System Preparation Project.

The World Bank says the money will be used to buy vaccines and make them available to the public.
