Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the Chairman of the Presidential Special Task Force on Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation,went abroad for personal reasons and will return to Sri Lanka within three weeks,Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa said.

He said that Basil Rajapaksa was not ill for treatment and that he had not fallen ill when he met him yesterday and when he left the country.
