Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa went to the US

Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the Chairman of the Presidential Special Task Force on Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation, has left the country for the United States this morning to undergo several medical tests and seek treatment.

He said that although Basil Rajapaksa had planned the trip in December and April last year, the trip had been delayed due to the situation in the country will be returned to Sri Lanka after staying in the United States for nearly a month and receiving the relevant tests and treatment.
