To examine the methods currently used to face the third wave of Covid risk in Sri Lanka and to discuss new measures to be taken Covid Technical Committee of the Ministry of Health summoned at the Ministry of health

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle, Minister of State for Primary Health Care, Epidemiology and Epidemiology.

The committee focused on the rate of transmission of the vaccine in the third risk level, PCR efficacy, quarantine, hospitalization, treatment, oxygen levels, and mortality.

Accordingly, the methods used and the current quarantine method was re-examined.

The focus was on re-activating the guidelines that had been implemented earlier, instead of the previously revised quarantine system, given the current risk situation.
