Attorney General Dappula de Livera has been appointed High Commissioner to Canada by the President.

However, Attorney General Dappula de Livera told the President, “I thank you for appointing me as the High Commissioner to Canada, but I want to stay in Sri Lanka and serve the people”;The Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said.
