Chinese Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe arrived in Sri Lanka for a two-day official visit last night.

He will make discussions with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and senior officials in Sri Lanka.

This is the second-highest visit by a Chinese official after senior Chinese diplomat, Yang Jiechi’s visit Sri Lanka during last October.
