Colombo port City – Permission to visit the port city must be obtained from the Chinese Ambassador

Permission should be obtained from the Chinese Embassy to inspect the Colombo port city; Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Kings Nelson stated.

He said that when he visited the Colombo port city, he was not allowed to do so and asked for permission from the Chinese embassy and although he was allowed to go anywhere in Sri Lanka as a Member of Parliament, he was not allowed to visit the port city; he further added.

If everything in the port city is done by the Sri Lankan government and the laws are made by the Sri Lankan government, why should the Chinese ambassador be allowed to visit the port city? , He questioned.

He said these while addressing a media briefing at the Samagi Jana Balawegaya headquarters.
