Manuja Kariyapperuma has been appointed as the interim Manager of the Sri Lanka Cricket Team for the upcoming two test match series against Bangladesh; Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket Management Committee, Professor Arjuna de Silva said.
He was appointed as the Manager of the Sri Lanka Team only for the Bangladesh series. He is the present Consultant of Women’s Cricket Operations and Development.
A permanent manager for the Sri lankan team will be appointed after the Bangladesh tour as the Sri Lanka Cricket last month called for applications for the post of national team manager.
