West Indies and Sri Lanka’s first test ends in a draw

Sri Lankan team lost a great opportunity to win a Test match after a long time as the first Test match against the West Indies ended in a draw. (March 25).

West Indies batsmen managed to save their team from defeat by building stability on the field while hasing a winning target of 375.

Sri Lanka scored 169 in the first innings and the West Indies scored 271 in their first innings.In the second innings Sri Lanka were bowled out for 471 and Pathum Nissanka scored a century in his debut Test match.

He scored 103 points and also won the Man of the Match award. The second and final Test between the two countries is scheduled to begin on the 29th this month.
