The Social Democratic Party of Sri Lanka (SLFP) calls for the legalization of cannabis for self-immunization. He said commenting to the media that the Ceylon Sugar Company has taken steps to supply 1750 tons of sugar to the CWE and the cooperative societies at present. He also explained that the Galoya Sugar Factory will supply another 600 tons of sugar today (31) and they asked Sathosa and the cooperatives to take the required quantity as soon as possible. “So far we have sent to many Sathosa. Most of the Sathosa has sugar at present. We will have the government companies intervene to reduce the price to 130 rupees by next Wednesday.” he said.

Three more cemeteries were preparing to bury the bodies of people who died of corona infection. The Ministry of Health states that the cemetery is being prepared in Trincomalee, Puttalam and Ampara. Meanwhile, it was expanded to include another 2 acres of land belonging to the Ottamawadi Cemetery in Batticaloa, where Corona is currently buried last week. So far 2264 bodies have been buried in the cemetery.

A dead body found wraped with a fish net floating in the sea
A decomposing body was found floating in the sea near the Sangupidy Bridge in Pooneryn, Kilinochchi today (30), Poonaryn Police said. A group walkedon the Sangupiddy bridge saw the body floating in the sea After informing the Poonaryn Police, the police went to the scene and took steps to retrieve the body. Upon examination of the exhumed body, it was not possible to identify the body as it was badly decomposed Police suspect that it was a murder as the body was wrapped in a fishing net and thrown into the sea. The body was taken to the Kilinochchi Hospital for an autopsy after the magistrate’s inquest.
