Sri Lanka beat Australia by 04 wickets in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Batting first, Australia scored 175 runs for the loss of all wickets while Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat.
Skipper Dunith Wellalage scored 52 runs.
Meanwhile, the second one day cricket match between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe is scheduled to begin today (18) at 2.30 pm at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
