The fastest train in the world

It is widely believed that carbon dioxide emissions are one of the causes of climate change. Therefore, it seems that many countries in the world are gradually withdrawing from promoting domestic flights. According to foreign media reports, the demand for domestic flights in the Scandinavian countries has dropped due to the “Flight Shame” program. What is the alternative? The most popular option is a high-speed train.
1. Shanghai Maglev

It is considered to be the fastest train in the world. Its maximum speed is 460 km per hour. The train with steel wheels travels on steel tracks. It takes about 7 minutes to cover 30 km.

2. Fuzhou Train – China

The train, which can carry about 1,200 passengers at a time, has a top speed of 350 kilometres per hour. The train will operate on the Beijing-Shanghai-Hong Kong and Beijing-Harbin routes.

3. InterCity Express (ICE) – Germany

This train service, known as the White Worm among the Germans, is gradually expanding. Its top speed is 330 kilometres per hour. The train currently connects the major German cities with Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels. Countries such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Italy, and France have already introduced high-speed trains.
