Several suicide bombings have been reported in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, according to foreign media reports.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a parliament building and police headquarters.
Three were killed and nearly 30 were injured.
Hospital sources say the death toll could rise further.
CCTV footage of the blast was released to the local media.
