The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has established the Foreign Exchange Promotion Facilitation Department.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka stated that the department has been established with effect from the 3rd of this month.

The department has been set up to facilitate and regulate the remittances of employees into the country.
