The Commander of the Indian Army General Manoj Makund Narawana who is on a visit to the island is scheduled to meet President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa today (13).

Manoj Makund Narawana arrived in the island yesterday (12) on a five day visit at the invitation of General Shavendra Silva.

The Indian Army Chief is scheduled to meet President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at 11.30 this morning.

He is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and government security chiefs.

Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narawana is scheduled to attend the 38th anniversary celebrations of the Gajaba Regiment in Saliyapura tomorrow (14).
