Samagi Jana Balawega MP Buddhika Pathirana says that the issuance of liquor licenses for supermarkets has been expedited.

He also said that discussions are underway to issue licenses for at least five new liquor stores in at least one electorate under that system.

As far as he knows, this one license is going to be issued for a sum of Rs. 70 million, he said.
