Easter attack case adjourned

The trial is set to resume on November 23 in connection with the Easter Sunday terror attack.

The case was taken up before a three-judge bench comprising Justices Damith Thotawatte, Amal Ranaraja and Navaratne Marasinghe this morning (04).

The indictments were handed over to the 24 accused before the Colombo High Court.

One of the accused had not been produced in court today due to infection with the covid-19 virus.

The lawsuit was filed against 23,270 people, including conspiracy to commit suicide bombing, aiding and abetting suicide bombings targeting Christian churches and tourist hotels on Easter Sunday, 2019.
