The Ministry of Industry has stated that steps will be taken to bring the copper factory belonging to the ‘Ibrahim family’ involved in the ‘Easter Sunday inhumane process’ which has been confiscated under the control of the Ceylon Industrial Development Board through a Cabinet Memorandum and make it a place to supply products required for the copper related industries in the country.

Wimal Weerawansa said. He was speaking to the media after inspecting the premises of the copper factory in Wellampitiya on the evening of the 16th.
