The couple identified for making an obscene video near Pahanthudawa was produced before the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court on the 16th of this month and released on two sureties of Rs. 50,000 each by the Balangoda Magistrate Jayaravan Dissanayake.
The couple was arrested by the CID following a complaint regarding an obscene video taken near the Balangoda Pahan Thudawa waterfall which had been released on the internet causing a great stir in recent days.
A couple living in Maharagama and Elpitiya was released on bail and the case was recalled on October 01 by the Medical Magistrate.
