A man has set himself on fire near a private bank in the Cinnamon Gardens area in Colombo Tuesday evening (July 7), Cinnamon Gardens Police said.
The suspect has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital by residents of the area.
A spokesman for the Kunduruwatta Police stated that steps are being taken to reveal the identity of the person who set the fire and that the condition of the person who was hospitalized is not serious.
