Prices of red dhal and sugar in the local market have increased by Rs. 10

According to wholesalers and retailers, the prices of red dhal and sugar in the local market have increased by Rs. 10 in a week.

Last week the price of a kilo of red dhal was Rs. 155 and it has been increased by another Rs. 10 on the 07th., they said.

The price of a kilo of sugar was Rs. 125 during the last week and the price of sugar has increased from time to time and the wholesale price of a kilo of sugar has increased to Rs. 142 with the increase of Rs. 10 per day, they added

Due to the current situation the retail price of a kilo of sugar has to be sold at Rs. 155.

Retailers say that they have taken steps to increase the price of red dhal and sugar due to the lack of adequate supply to meet the demand.
