It is possible to extend the travel restrictions even after 14- Keheliya Rambukwella

Cabinet Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella has stated that the current travel restrictions may be extended after June 14.

However, future decisions cannot be made at this time and the government would take all necessary measures to prevent people from being inconvenienced if the travel restrictions were extended, he added

The Minister further said that no country in the world is taking a definite course of action in the face of the epidemic and that decisions will be taken according to the situation prevailing.

He said these while joining to a media briefing in Kandy.
