A van providing security to a vehicle transporting covid 19 dead body from Hatton to Ottamawadi has overturned and faced an accident today morning (June 05).

The van had met with an accident near the 59th km post on the road between Hatton and Ginigathhena.
Sub Inspector Bennett Kumarasinghe who was in the van has died in the accident and the other injured were admitted to Watawala Hospital.
