It was reported that adults have been queuing in front of post offices by quarantine instructions since this morning (May 28) to receive the monthly allowance of Rs. 2,000 paid by the government on behalf of senior citizens.
Many reported senior citizens came to the post on foot with the permission of the police in the face of the strict traffic law and collect the money. The Senior Citizens’ Allowance will be paid on the 28th and 29th of this month.
