An Explosion of a burning ship in front of the Colombo harbour, containers fall into the sea

The Express Pearl has caught fire and exploded in the sea near the Colombo harbour.

The Marine Environmental Protection Agency said eight containers had fallen into the sea. The Sri Lanka Navy has rescued 25 crew members of the ship.

Two of the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
