Dr Hemantha Herath, Deputy Director, Health Services, Media Spokesman, Ministry of Health, said that Sri Lanka has not yet come close to the level of corona distribution in India.
However, he said that the spread of the virus in Sri Lanka was serious and he is not going to use the word “dangerous” and the Ministry of Health has taken all necessary measures to consider this situation.
The virus could not be prevented from spreading as India if the current situation was not addressed.
He said these while addressing a media briefing at the Ministry of Health.
