Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva, on the instructions of the Commander of the Central Provincial Security Forces, Ranjan Lamahewa, the 11th Division and the 112 Brigade of the Sri Lanka Army completed the construction of a 500-bed Intermediate Treatment Plant in the Nuwara Eliya District.

The Nuwara Eliya 3rd Lions Regiment in collaboration with the Nuwara Eliya District Secretary, Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council and the Nuwara Eliya District Health Services Director’s Office is carrying out the work of this Additional Treatment Center built at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council Hall.

Mayor of the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council and current Municipal Councilor Mahinda Dodampagamage submitted this fully equipped treatment center to Commander of the 3rd Sinha Regiment Asitha Ranathilake today (May 15)
