The health practices to be followed while traveling in a private vehicle explained – The Sri Lanka Health Promotion Bureau

The Sri Lanka Health Promotion Bureau has clarified the restrictions imposed on persons travelling in private vehicles.

The Director of the Health Promotion Bureau, Dr P.S. D. Koggala’s was told that it was not necessary to wear face masks in the vehicle when members of the same family were travelling together.

He further explained that face masks should be worn in the vehicle only when members of different families or two unknown passengers in a private vehicle.

The Health Promotion Bureau has instructed that only two passengers, except the driver, be allowed in the vehicle.
