Geneva Human Rights Council Requested UK government to impose sanctions for General Shavendra Silva

Yasmin Suka, a senior official at the Geneva Human Rights Council, had requested the UK government to impose sanctions on Army Commander Shavendra Silva under the Magnitos Sanctions Act.

She made the request by sending a 50-page report to the Commonwealth Secretariat in UK. The report also included testimonies from former LTTE supporters in the country. But the identity of them yet not revealed.

This is the third report drafted by Yasmin Suka accusing Army Commander Shavendra Silva for war crimes.
