It is reported that the owner of the car that was driving unsafely on the southern high way has been identified.

It has been revealed that the owner was a resident of Peradeniya and had already sold the car to a resident of Alawatugoda.

A video of a light blue colour car driving unsafely on the Southern Expressway is currently circulating on social media and it shows a group of boys traveling in a car sitting unsafely on the windows of the vehicle and they had put their bodies outside the vehicle.

The incident had taken place in between the Kadawatha to Matara section of the Southern Expressway and the police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
