A 34-year-old Anuruddha Pushpakumara, a businessman who runs a building material store and resides in Kotugoda, Medagamuwa, died due to gunshots.

Meanwhile, a person was injured in the other shooting that took place at Ahungalla, Urahaga road yesterday afternoon.

 A man on a motorcycle had shot him and fled. The police stated that he had a close association with members of organized crime gangs.
