It was reported that a 16 years old male student from Opanayaka area had sexualy assaulted by a principal.

The suspected principal was arrested according to a complaint filed to the police by students farther.

childs farther claimed that child was assulted on March 3rd during school hours and he had returned to home mentally affected on multiple occasions.

Later the students parents had found that child was sexually abused and reported it to the police. He was admitted to the Balangoda base hospitle later.

The suspected principal was produced before the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court today( March 9.)
