The Prison official who permitted Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Harsha Rajakaruna to take selfies with imprisoned SJB MP Ranjan Ramanayake were commenced an inquiry.

MP Rajakarunsa had visited Angunukolapelessa Prison yesterday to see the well-being of the MP Ramanayake. He had taken a selfie with MP Ramanayaka there and posted it on his personal Facebook account.

The Prison Official who was in charge at the time of MP Rajakaruna’s visit were received an inquiry by State Minister of Prison Management and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation Lohan Ratwatte.

State Minister of Prison Management and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation Lohan Ratwatte has state that Harshana Rajakaruna had violated his Parliamentary privileges by taking the selfie with MP Ramanayake.

A complaint against Harshana Rajakaruna will be filed regard to Speaker of the Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
