Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has decided to resign from his position

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena says that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has decided to resign from his position.

Accordingly, the Speaker announced yesterday night in a press conference that the President will resign from his office on Wednesday, July 13th.
