The Ministry of Pharmaceutical Products Supply and Regulation states that the stocks of 40 types of drugs in government hospitals will be sufficient for another three weeks only.

Its Secretary Dr. Saman Ratnayake stated that arrangements have been made to bring all these drugs to the island as soon as possible.

 He also stated that two types of drugs are not available in government hospitals at present.
