Job Overview
The National Police Commission (NPC) is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for one (01) vacancy for the post of Legal Officer (Grade III). This is a permanent and pensionable position, subject to a three-year probationary period.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Qualifications: Must be sworn in as an Attorney-At-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- Experience:
- At least three (03) years of active professional experience after being sworn in.
- OR gained experience in legal tasks for at least 03 years in a state institution (legal field).
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
- Age Limit: Must be between 21 and 45 years of age as of the closing date.
Salary Scale
- The monthly salary scale is based on the Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025: Rs. 195,970 (SL I-2025).
- An incentive allowance of 1/5 of the basic salary is also provided.
