A meeting has taken place between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the head of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva.
The meeting took place during the COP 27 climate conference in Egypt. Mr. Ruwan Wijewardena said in a tweet that there was a successful discussion regarding debt management.
Ghana’s Finance Minister Hon Ken Ofori Atta and Maldives Speaker Mohamed Nasheed were also present at the event.
