The player who misses the flight loses the World Cup

One of the strongest batsmen in the West Indies team has lost the T20 World Cup this year.

Shimron Hetmyer has lost the World Cup cricket tournament.

Although he was scheduled to fly to Australia yesterday, he lost the tournament due to the notification that he will not be able to arrive at the airport on time.

The west indies authorities say that Shamarh Brooks has been named for the vacancy due to him.

The West Indies cricket authorities further say that Shimron Hetmyer was scheduled to go to Australia on the 1st. However, he refused the trip due to personal reasons.

Foreign sports media have reported quoting cricket authorities that they were informed that they can go to Australia on the 3rd Monday.

However, after Shimron Hetmyer notified that he would not be able to arrive at the airport on time on Monday, the authorities further stated that he was removed from the squad.
