Popular actor Darshan Dharmaraj bids farewell

 Veteran actor Darshan Dharmaraj has passed away. A spokesperson of the Colombo National Hospital stated that Mr. Darshan Dharmaraj passed away this morning (02) due to a heart attack.

 He was 41 years old when he died. Born in Rakwana, he entered the art scene with the tele drama “A-9” directed by Sidney Chandrasekaran.

Darshan Dharmaraj made his film debut in 2008 with the movie ‘Prabhakaran’. Since then, he became a talented star of Hela cinema and contributed to many Sinhala and Tamil films including Machang, Iniwan, Mata, Tsunami, Komali Kings.

Constantly praised by critics as an actor full of realistic acting skills, he is an extremely popular artist among the Tamil as well as the Sinhalese fan community.
