The Sri Lankan team won the Asia Cup 2020 cricket championship yesterday (11).
The match against Pakistan was won by 23 runs. Accordingly, this is the 6th time that Sri Lanka has won the Asian Cup. The last time Sri Lanka won the Asia Cup was in 2014.
Pakistan won the toss in the match held in Dubai and invited Sri Lanka to bat first. According to that, the Sri Lankan team managed to score 170 runs by losing 6 wickets at the end of the scheduled 20 overs.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa, who engaged in a superb batting run, scored 71 runs without losing. At the end of the scheduled 20 overs, the Pakistan team, who played the reply innings, could score only 147 runs.
