Mrs Samantha Power, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development left Sri Lanka

Mrs Samantha Power, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, who came to the island for a two-day official visit, left the island.

 Katunayake Airport Duty Manager said that she left on a Qatar Airways flight at around 3.50 am today.

The team arrived on the island yesterday to discuss the current economic crisis and strengthen the development partnership between America and Sri Lanka.

 Mrs Samantha Power, who visited a farm in the Ja-Ala Ekala area yesterday and discussed the problems faced by the farmers, said that 40 million dollars will be awarded for the needs of the farmers in the country.
