The Political Crisis in Sri Lanka-The budget is passed with a majority of 115 votes

The second reading of the budget presented to Parliament by President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been passed with a majority of 115 votes.

 In the voting held today in Parliament, 120 votes were received in favor of it and 5 votes were received against it.

43 MPs abstained from voting. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya and the Sri Lanka Podujana Group, which broke away from the ruling party, abstained from voting on this bill.
