Samagi Jana Balawega MP Sarath Fonseka mentions that the former super spinner of the country, Muttiah Muralitharan, has acquired about seven hundred acres of land in other people’s names.

Mr Fonseka also said in Parliament that Muralidharan has obtained the land for the middle class.

The MP said that this year’s budget proposal also mentions the distribution of land and this is going to be done by distributing twenty acres each to his friends and supporters.
