There may be a risk of closing down the country again- Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors Association

According to the Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors Association, there may be a risk of closing down the country again in the future based on the current situation.

Addressing a press conference, the president of the association Mr. Upul Rohana said that the Corona virus is once again spreading rapidly across the country.

But he said that the infected people are identified very rarely and the reason for this is that tests are not conducted to identify the infected people.

He urged the people that the immunity of any dose of Corona vaccine lasts only for about six months and if that period has passed, anyone should get another dose of vaccine.

He further said that if we forget that there was a corona epidemic in the country, the country will have to be shut down again and the decision to do so or not will depend on the behavior of the people.
