Burning of the Sri Lankan President’s house: Another suspect arrested

Another suspect has been arrested in Kottawa city for breaking into President Ranil Wickramasinghe’s private residence in Kollupitiya and setting it on fire on July 9, damaging and stealing property.

The 33-year-old suspect, who has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department, is a resident of Aranayaka area.

The suspect is scheduled to be produced in the Fort Magistrate’s Court today. The Criminal Investigation Department is conducting further investigations in this regard.
