Cabinet Spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena said at today’s news conference announcing the Cabinet decisions that China will provide some of the required uniforms for school students in 2023 upon the country’s request.

Mr Bandula Gunawardena further said that the remaining quantity has been approved by the cabinet to be produced by local manufacturers.

Furthermore, the Cabinet is focusing on providing a voucher for school uniforms from 2024.
